United Pastors of America is a broad coalition of Pastors who share a deep concern about the direction our nation is traveling. For decades we have seen a steady moral decline throughout our culture which has resulted in a highly divided nation. Our elected national, state and local leaders have become corrupt to the point they no longer know what is right and what is wrong based upon our Judeo-Christian founding principles. Our Federal Government has become so politically divided that our leaders think not in terms of what is best for our nation as a whole but what is best for their own political party and their own electability.
This corruption is widespread throughout our Federal Government beginning with the Supreme Court and all the Judiciary system plus the Legislative branch and in some instances the Executive branch. In effect our nation has lost its health and moral integrity the same as Ancient Israel and her sister nation Judah did several decades before the Lord brought His judgment upon them. The following quote from the first chapter of Isaiah explains. Verse 4, “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil doers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Verse 5, “Why should ye be stricken anymore? Ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart is faint.” Verse 6 “From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, bruises and putrefying sores; they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.” Verse 7 “Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
Several decades later Jeremiah wrote in the 8th chapter 21st verse,” For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt. I am black; astonishment hath taken hold of me. Verse 22 “Is there no balm in Gilead: Is there no physician there?
Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
We the pastors of United Pastors OF America have come to see the distinct parallel that exists between Ancient Israel and her sister nation Judah and our own nation. We therefore feel that the Lord has laid the burden heavily upon our hearts and shoulders to rise up, to lift up our voice, to cry aloud until our voices become a major and prevailing part of turning our nation back to God. The more committed members of this coalition, the more powerful will our voices be.
